Tonja McClain has been a Construction Project Manager on Long Island for the past 26 years. She holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University College of Engineering. In the last 7 years, looking for a way to ease the day-to-day pressures and stresses of her career, she ventured into the fitness community. What started out as weekend walk and talks with girlfriends, quickly turned into running 5Ks, 10ks, half marathons, and marathons. During that time period she became a certified run coach and certified personal trainer and started using her talents to help others cross the finish line. Today, she is still encouraging others to reach their fitness goals through coaching and training. Throughout her time in the fitness industry, finding a clean source of energy to fuel her workouts has been quite a challenge. After years of unsuccessful encounters with drinks, powders, and gels, she decided to take her experiences and delve into the beverage industry to try and create her own. Together Beverages started as an experiment to fulfill a need in 2018, but came to fruition in 2020 at the height of the pandemic. It was at this time that Tonja saw that her need for an energy drink could help change the lives of the people in her community.
Together Beverages LLC is a 100% Black family-owned company that was founded with one objective in mind…to give back. What separates Together Beverages from the rest is that 50% of the profits (yes, 50%) for every single product sold is actively given back to health, social, financial, and safety causes on a global scale giving the consumer the immense power to give back to causes YOU care about on a daily basis. These causes include, but are not limited to, some of the major issues affecting our lives today like, Essential Workers including all undocumented individuals, COVID Relief, the LGBTQIA+ Community, Social Justice, Single Mothers, Mental Health, Prison Reform, Hip Hop, and the list goes on...
Contributions will be made to local non-profit organizations in communities in need across the nation.
